World Class Ironman Sami Inkinen on Keto
Staying up to date with the movement of Keto in sport and althetes is something I remain very interested in as a member of the LCHF fitness community. Athletes today are increasingly learning that ‘eat endless carbs’, isn’t the only way to prepare for physical exertion.
In fact, often it is the opposite mechanism for which endurance athletes use to condition themselves for events.
I found this great interview from 180 Nutrition with World Ironman Sami Inkinen, and agree with a lot of the points they cover. Ideas around eating whole foods, staying healthy, and achieving sports performance goals whilst on a low carb diet are all growing in popularity and great to see here.
