There are so many varieties of hollandaise sauce out there on the market most of them loaded with sugars, cheap oils/fats and synthetic ingredients for manufacturing and shelf life purposes. Because NATURAL FOOD is what is GOOD for you, so you should eat NATURAL and ORGANIC where you can!!
Here’s a great way to make a keto-friendly hollandaise sauce that you’ll feel good about while eating, and is 100% natural.
Big Pete’s Keto-Friendly Hollandaise Sauce
Ingredients
- Pink rock salt, just a pinch, and some freshly cracked pepper also
- About 150g Butter
- Lemon Juice
- An Egg
Method
- Combine the salt, lemon juice and egg in the cup/bowl.
- Get a hand blender ready.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- When butter is melted quickly put in to a poorable jug and start to poor the butter in slowly whilst starting to blend.
This last step is super important, so pay close attention while you do it.
It may take a few tries to get just right!
